About Dr. Melton
Riverton roots, care close to home.
Dr. Tim Melton was raised in Riverton, Utah, and graduated from Bingham High School in South Jordan. He attended Brigham Young University–Idaho on an academic scholarship and graduated with honors.
He was selected as the State of Utah’s optometry recipient of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) and attended the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. He completed externships at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and the VA Medical Center in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Melton has clinical experience in primary care optometry, treating and managing ocular disease, and caring for patients having cataract surgery, LASIK, and PRK. He is fluent in Portuguese and is a member of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Melton lives in Riverton, Utah, and enjoys skiing, sports, outdoor activities, and traveling.
