About Dr. Parkinson

Dr. David Parkinson was raised in a small farming town in Idaho and graduated from Brigham Young University–Idaho.
After college, he worked as the health coordinator at Mountainland Head Start in Provo, Utah, helping families of preschool-aged children connect with providers for vision, dental, and medical exams. He then attended Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude.
His clinical experience includes primary care optometry, specialty contact lenses, treatment and management of ocular disease, and care for patients considering LASIK, PRK, implantable lenses, or cataract surgery. He enjoys helping people achieve their best possible vision.
Dr. Parkinson lives in Orem, Utah, with his wife, Tara, and their two boys.
